A hint of Red

Well I guess you have all noticed that I havnt blogged in a long time, I have had a lot going on and hope to get a lot more blogging done from now on, today i was visiting CreatewithKates blog and saw the challenge she was doing so this is what has brought me to the blog today.

I like a lot of establishment and flowers on my  cards and found it very hard to keep things simple, but the minute i saw the challenge rules i pictured this card in my head, i so glad it turned out the way i saw it.

Busy Busy Busy

well this month i have been very busy doing my sisters wedding invitations and also lots and lots of communion cards, so i just taught id share some of my creations with you

hello everyone, my name is Sabrina and i am your Sunday DT member over at 2 cute rubber stamps, this week i have used their lovely chick image to make an Easter card, the image was coloured using pro markers and sprayed with crafters companion irredentist spray, it was decoupaged and i added some paper ribbon and a paper bow, to finish off i added some lemon feathers and some mini buttons.

first demo

well finally got there my first demo, in JM crafts Tullamore, i have been busy all week preparing and making sure i have lots to show you all, i will be doing some stamping, some card folds and some box making.


will fill you all in when its over hopefully all goes well and it wont be my last demo

mothers Day cards

birthday book

 9th Birthday Book and matching box. This was a set designed by Jackie Mitchell over at countrycraftsireland.com, the set is really easy to work with and great quality images, would make a lovely card for any little girl.

I really enjoyed making it and love the little flowers that come with it

Well I did it, my first card making class, firstly i would like to thank Caroline for hosting the class and the lovely ladies who attended my class in limerick it was great to meet you all and a pleasure showing you some of my ideas, i hope you all enjoyed it.

All the images used are from 2 cute rubber stamps., they are coloured using pro markers and added to some nice backing papers

tip for today

just been doing some crafting and needed some thin brown ribbon, and guess what I didn't have 

any, so was thinking what else I could use and decided to raid the wardrobe, 

I went in with a scissors and cut off all those annoying strings that stick out on your tops and hay presto nice brown ribbon.

But remember not to cut to close or it might cost you a few tops !!

custom made 80th card for retired farmer

This card was a special order, it is an A4 easel card using warm browns and greens, the edges are torn and inked to give a more rustic look to the card and the embellishments are also inked to give that aged look
